About Me

Greetings! I am an upcoming (BSc) Computer Programming graduate at the University of Suffolk (UoS). Throughout my time as a student, I have been fortunate enough to experience a variety of programming disciplines/specialisms; however, the past three years have focused my attention towards the 'backend development' behind games production encompassing specialist areas such as Game Engine Programming, Artificial Intelligence, Graphics Programming, and Gameplay Programming.

General Development

Backend Development: Rust, Python, Ruby, Kotlin

Frontend Development: HTML, CSS, Javascript

Environment: Visual Studio, intellij, Apache Netbeans

Game Development

C Family: C#, C++, C

Engines: Unity, Unreal, Godot

Shader Langauges: GLSL, ShaderLab

Project Managment

Jira

Trello

GitHub

Plastic SCM

Unlike other forms of software development, games development has an extensive wealth of varying specialisms in games programming alone, providing me with knowledge and experience using various programming languages, paradigms and architectural designs in addition to a firm foundation of programming principles. Furthermore, although it's not my specialist area at University, I have experience working in both art and design roles which I find extremely valuable for knowing how to communicate with a team of various professional disciplines.
